GO WILD MAP

REWILDING LIFE X BUNDANON

I was commissioned to design and illustrate a self-guided map and guide a family walk to discover the wildlife of Bundanon as part of Science Week, 2024.

This family-friendly, self-guided map invites visitors to explore and reconnect with nature, using all their senses to discover the diverse plants, birds, mammals, insects, and reptiles that call Bundanon home.

There are 19 threatened species on-site and wildlife isn’t always easy to spot—some are seasonal or nocturnal. The map encourages kids to become nature detectives, looking for clues like animal tracks, scats (yep, that’s poo!), and tree scratches from possums or gliders.

It also highlights common wildlife along the trail—like fantail birds flitting between trees, termite nests, the spotted gum forest and patches of lichen and moss— all with mindful prompts to keep you present.

If you’re in the Shoalhaven area, swing by Bundanon, grab a free copy of the map, and enjoy your adventure!

I would like to acknowledge the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land on which which I live, work, play and learn, and pay my respect to their Elders past and present.
